Community
Many members of the firm devote significant time and energy to numerous community activities and volunteer activities. As a firm, we strongly encourage community involvement and charitable work, both on a firm and individual basis.
Here are some of the activities our firm has recently supported:
The 7th Annual Mississauga Dragon Boat Festival
On June 13, 2010, Davies Howe Partners LLP entered a dragon boat racing team in the 7th Annual Mississauga Dragon Boat Festival, held in support of breast cancer research and treatment at Trillium Health Centre’s Betty Wallace Women’s Health Centre. The event was hosted by the Mississauga Canoe Club in Port Credit. For the third year in a row, Davies Howe Partners LLP was the highest fundraiser.

JDRF Ride For Diabetes Research
On October 1, 2010, Davies Howe Partners LLP participated in the JDRF Ride For Diabetes Research held at the Metro Convention Centre. This is the second consecutive year that Davies Howe Partners LLP has sent a team of riders and raised funds for this event.
Nuit Blanche Black & White Party
On October 2, 2010, Davies Howe Partners LLP celebrated the arts with a Nuit Blanche Black & White Party, its third annual Nuit Blanche party. The event featured live music and a showcase of work by three local artists – painters Allen Shugar and Angela Lipscombe and photographer Sean Galbraith. The event is a “pre-party” to encourage clients and friends of the firm to go out into the streets to celebrate Toronto’s Nuit Blanche.
