David is a partner at Davies Howe LLP, practicing in the firm’s litigation group, with a particular focus on insurance and employment matters. David acts for both employers and employees. Prior to joining Davies Howe in 2019, David worked as Plaintiff counsel at a boutique personal injury firm and as in-house counsel for an international financial services company.

David’s experience working on both sides of the table gives him unique insight into his litigation files. His ability to consider problems from the opposite side’s perspective allows David to deliver expeditious and cost-effective solutions for his clients.  David is also available to act as a mediator in a wide variety of litigated disputes. David is the former Commissioner of the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association, and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children. David is also an avid skier and scuba diver, and loves all things sports.
