Narmada is an associate at Davies Howe LLP, practicing in the firm’s land development group. She was called to the bar in June 2022.
Prior to joining Davies Howe in 2023, Narmada worked as an associate at an insurance defence firm. She has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court on various matters.
Narmada received her Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy in 2021. During law school, Narmada was an active participant in the Windsor and Detroit communities where she volunteered with the Community Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Students Canada. She also has experience assisting in legal clinics, having worked in both the Cities and Climate Action Forum in Windsor and the Federal Pro Se Legal Assistant Clinic in Detroit. Narmada also had the privilege of being a Judicial Intern at a Federal court in Michigan where she worked on both civil and criminal matters. Prior to attending law school, Narmada obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from McGill University.
Outside of the office, Narmada enjoys traveling, attending the theatre, and watching stand-up comedy.
