Ava Kanner
Ava is a litigation partner whose practice includes commercial, insurance, employment and expropriation law. She joined Davies Howe in 2003 and has appeared before all levels of court and tribunals in Ontario and Quebec.
Ava has a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and a Bachelor of Civil Law from the Université de Montréal. She earned a Bachelor of Common Law from Osgoode Hall in 1985 and a Masters in E-Business Law in 2004. She maintains her membership in both the Bar of Quebec and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Ava taught civil litigation at the Law Society of Upper Canada for nine years and has been a frequent presenter at legal conferences across the country. In addition, she is an active volunteer with a number of charities.
